1. Create a time-sensitive seasonal promotion for one of your services or products.
This adds a sense of urgency to buy or book with you without seeming too salesy or pushy. In fact your clients and customers want these type of offers. According to a Technomic study, 43% of consumers report that it’s “important or extremely important” to them that restaurants frequently offer new or seasonal items on their menus. The study also reported that 26% of the respondents would pay slightly more for those limited-time, specialty offerings.
2. Sponsor a local event or activity.
Make sure that in exchange you receive access to the email addresses of participants so you can offer them a special promo to claim after the event is over. Invite your favorite customers and stage a visit by a local athlete, politician, news personality or sports mascot. Consider seeing if a non-profit or special interest group would like to hold an event in conjunction with your store.
3. Partner with another local business even if your business is online.
Cross promote complementary products. Cross-promotion, or co-marketing, means teaming up with another business to create a promotion that benefits both of you. The key is to collaborate with a business that doesn’t directly compete with you.

4. Launch a loyalty program and offer rewards to customer after their 3rd visit.
If you reward customers early on they're more likely to become set regulars and even send you referral business. Loyalty program members are your restaurant's best friends. They see value in visiting often, and they’ve also likely opted in to receive regular content (personalized emails, text messages, push notifications) that keeps your business at top of mind.
Loyalty stamp cards are old school and not great for the environment, so modernize this promo style by launching your own app. You’ll keep things streamlined for your staff and your customers, and the tool will make it easier for your members to earn rewards.
With a mobile app we can set up you can take advantage of geofencing technology and push notifications to send messages directly to your customers' phones, informing them of events, specials, and promotions when they're in your neighborhood.
5. Write and publish an ebook and sell it on your site or in exchange for their email.

The beauty of a Flash Sale is that it’s an element of surprise for your customers and clients. It’s an “act now and you’ll be rewarded if you do” scenario. You’re engaging your customers to do something they didn’t plan on doing, and you’re going to reward them for taking this action.
9. Send out a press release.
A press release is a great way to mark the occasion of new products, employees, or promotions. be sure to change up the formatting of each press release so that each one stands out. Always include employee quotes and images of what you are promoting; both are integral to any journalist picking up your press release.
